St. 22 breaks 200 calls!!!

St. 22 broke 200 calls in the first 6 months of the 2008 year.  In 2007 St. 22 only ran 261 calls. St. 22 will most likely run more than 300 calls this year ranging from struture fires, brush fires, car fires, tree downs, MVA's, and many Public Service Calls....

St. 22 gets NEW Tanker

St. 22 recently recieved delivery of a 2007 Kenworth T300 tanker from M & W Fire of Vinton, VA.  The new Tanker 226 is replacing the1985 Ford tanker that went out of service a couple months ago.  St. 22 would like to thank M & W Fire for doing an excellent job on the new tanker....

St. 22 dispatched to 3 Structure Fires in 3 days.

St. 22 visits the new Hampton Inn of Gretna

The members did a walk through of the new Hampton Inn in Gretna.  The hotel is not completed at the moment but will be soon.  The reason for the walk through is so that the fire fighters will know the structural elements of the new hotel when it is finished....
